PAYMENTWe accept payment by bank transfer into our Norwegian or UK accounts or via www.paypal.com (4% extra for this method to cover fees). Payment should reach us no later than 15 days prior to arrival. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYMENT ON ARRIVAL OR DEPARTURE. Once payment has reached us and it is less than 15 days to the arrival date, no refunds will be made, even if you have to cancel or shorten your stay. We will issue an invoice.
DEPOSITA 30% deposit must be paid to secure your booking. This will be 30% of the total rental cost. Once the deposit has been paid, this will secure your booking. If you wish to cancel your booking, you can do this up to 30 days prior to the agreed arrival date and the full deposit will be refunded. If the booking is cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival date, the deposit will not be refunded.
PARKINGParking is restricted to residents only, but daily parking permits can be purchased from Stavanger Parking or directly with owner on request.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
Electricity and normal wear and tear of all equipment as long as used as intended. We provide one set of bed linen and towels per person per stay and final cleaning in the rental. Free baby cot or high chair if required. Free broadband wireless internet access.
INSURANCEThe property has full contents and building insurance for the owners. However, you need to arrange your own travel insurance to cover your personal effects and belongings.
DAMAGE
If the property or contents is damaged by you or your party (not due to normal wear and tear) you will responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing what has been damaged. You will be responsible for paying the outstanding amount within 10 days. Should this be the case, we will fully document the repair work with invoices or provide receipts of new goods purchased.
USE OF PROPERTY
No part of the property shall be used for any purposes other than as residential accommodation. Illegal or commercial activity is strictly forbidden. No more than the agreed numbers of persons are to be accommodated at the property. It is not permitted to interfere, or cause or permit interference with the reasonable peace, comfort or privacy of neighbours. Please keep noise down between 23:00 and 08.00 am.
SMOKINGSmoking is prohibited in our properties at all times. Please smoke outside the building if you need to smoke. Please dispose of cigarette ends with care and consideration, so not to litter the street or cause a fire hazard. (Note that smoking is prohibited in all public places in Norway such as bars, restaurants & hotels.)
DEPARTUREPlease ensure that you leave the property tidy and in the same condition as found on arrival. All crockery/cutlery must be cleaned and placed back in the cupboard and shelves and all kitchen equipment put back in its place. You must also ensure that the fridge/freezer is empty. All other furniture and equipment must be returned to where they were found on arrival. It is also your responsibility to ensure all rubbish and household waste is sorted correctly. We will give information with your arrival details on how to sort the rubbish and recycling.
CHECK IN / CHECK OUT / LUGGAGE
Earliest check in is 15:00.
Latest check out is 11:00.
We cannot store luggage. Please use storage facilities at Stavanger Train Station.
ACCESS FOR OWNER
The owner reserves the right to inspect the property during the rental period at an agreed time. If a breach of this agreement is suspected, owner reserves the right to inspect the property unannounced and to terminate the agreement with immediate effect.
SECURITYIt is your responsibility to ensure that you lock and secure the property when the apartment is left for any period of time, including the locking of all windows and doors. Keys will be provided on arrival.
